The latest free-to-play battle royale, developed by Respawn, has reached another major player milestone. In just 72 hours, Apex Legends had 10 million people connect to thier servers.

Apex Legends Reaches Another Milestone

That’s quite a milestone. CEO of Respawn, Vince Zampella, also mentioned over a million concurrent player count. Zampella also stated:

This has been a truly incredible journey. We tested and tweaked. We argued and agreed. We got to a point where we felt some magic. We knew it would be risky to take the franchise in this direction, to go free to play, and do a surprise launch. But we fell in love with Apex Legends and wanted, needed, other people to play it too.

Vince Zampella

He went on to thank all the players who have helped break this milestone and said “this is just the beginning” for Apex Legends. As was previously announced, it will have a Fortnite-type of a battle pass.
