Tre­yarch released an update yes­ter­day, which made quite a bit of changes to Black Ops 4. It comes along with the cel­e­bra­tion of 115 Day with­ing the Zom­bie com­mu­ni­ty.

There is cur­rent­ly 2XP, 2X Weapon XP and 2X Neb­u­li­um Plas­ma, on all plat­forms, which ends Jan­u­ary 18th. Zom­bies is also fea­tur­ing the new “Unsink­able” Gaunt­let.

Black­out also got some TLC this update, includ­ing a loot­ing sys­tem that makes it eas­i­er for play­ers to “loot their ene­mies and get back into the fight.” Black­out is also recieve­ing a new lim­it­ed-time mode called “Down But Not Out”. In this mode, as long as one play­er from you squad is alive when the cir­cle shrinks, then all mem­bers of you squad will re-deploy.

Zombies

  • Game­play
    • Elixir Updates
      • Join The Par­ty: Now revives downed play­ers in addi­tion to respawn­ing dead par­ty mem­bers, but will not restore lost Perks.
      • Sword Flay: Melee attacks now instant­ly kill Basic and Ver­min ene­mies for the dura­tion, and deal 5X dam­age to all oth­er ene­mies.
      • CTRL‑Z: Increased the dura­tion of turned zom­bies from 15 sec­onds to 30 sec­onds.
      • Cache Back: Reduced rar­i­ty from Epic to Leg­endary to increase the chance of con­coct­ing Cache Back more fre­quent­ly.
      • Phan­tom Reload: Dou­bled the pre­vi­ous per­cent­age chance to get free ammo.
      • Blood Debt: Dura­tion reduced from 3 min­utes to 1 minute, and Blood Debt now sim­ply ends when points are reduced to zero, rather than killing the play­er.

      • PhD Slid­er now ful­ly pre­vents self-inflict­ed explo­sive dam­age.
