Dark Souls: Remas­tered is set for launch on con­soles and PC lat­er this month, but if you want to get your hands on it before then, you may be in luck. PS4 and Xbox One play­ers can down­load the net­work test client to secure a spot. 

PS4 play­ers can down­load the client from today until May 8th, while Xbox One play­ers will only be able to grab it by May 7th. Xbox One play­ers can get the test client here, and PS4 play­ers here. You can down­load it, but the actu­al net­work test does­n’t start until May 11th — May 12th in the Amer­i­c­as from 6:00pm PDT through 12:00am PDT

You’ll be play­ing through the Undead Parish area, so you can check out the updat­ed graph­ic res­o­lu­tion, the 60fps fram­er­ate, as well as the new six-play­er mul­ti­play­er for the series’ PVP and co-op game­play. 

Dark Souls: Remas­tered will release on May 25th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC for $40. The Switch ver­sion will have a net­work test client, how­ev­er, due to the game being delayed, there is no spec­i­fied time the client will be avail­able.
