Just like the first game, Des­tiny 2 will be giv­ing PlaySta­tion play­ers exclu­sive con­tent for a set amount of time. So every­one on Xbox One —which now includes PC— has to wait to receive these exclu­sive items. 

The direc­tor of Des­tiny 2, Luke Smith, Post­ed a tweet today which stat­ed: “Des­tiny 2’s PlaySta­tion exclu­sive con­tent will arrive on Xbox One and PC in 2018.” That is not very spe­cif­ic, but it is bet­ter than leav­ing us with no new infor­ma­tion. When the exclu­sive PS4 con­tent was first was first announced, Activi­sion said it would con­tin­ue to be exclu­sive “until at least Fall 2018.” So with what was said on Twit­ter, in com­bi­na­tion with what Activi­sion stat­ed, PC and Xbox play­ers could be look­ing at more than a year of wait­ing time. Maybe even around Decem­ber 2018. 

Exclu­sive con­tent will include the strike: Lake of Shad­ows, an exoc­tic sniper rifle: Bore­alis, a com­pet­i­tive mul­ti­play­er map: Ret­ri­bu­tion, armor, and the Apex ship. To see the Des­tiny 2 E3 2017 PlaySta­tion exclu­sive trail­er, check it out below:
