Microsoft wasn’t kid­ding when they stat­ed they would be going big this year for E3. Xbox showed 60 dif­fer­ent games dur­ing it’s con­fer­ence, most of them com­ing from the devel­op­ers in the Xbox Game Stu­dios fam­i­ly.

Microsoft also announced major changes to their Xbox Game Pass, along with the reveal of their next gen­er­a­tion con­sole, Project Scar­lett, and the next gen­er­a­tion Xbox Elite con­troller. You can see all Microsoft’s announce­ments below:

Bleeding Edge

This is 4v4 melee com­bat are­na style game, devel­oped by Nin­ja The­o­ry. The tech­ni­cal alpha will start July 25th.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Ori was shown at last years E3, but this year’s trail­er offered game­play, which wasn’t seen before. Ori and the Will of the Wisps releas­es Feb­ru­ary 11th, 2020.

Minecraft Dungeons

The lat­est Minecraft adven­ture, Minecraft Dun­geons, is a four-play­er couch or online co-op RPG. It’s a new take on an clas­sic title, com­ing some­time in the spring of 2020.


Bat­tle­toads should be arriv­ing lat­er this year.

Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft also revealed changes com­ing to their Xbox Game Pass, along the release of the Game Pass beta for PC users. You can see games being devel­oped by Xbox Game Stu­dios below, all of which will be going to Xbox Game Pass day one of their release.

Microsoft Flight Simulator

This an extreme­ly real­is­tic (espe­cial­ly regard­ing the scenery), flight sim­u­la­tor, is pow­ered by satel­lite data and Microsoft’s own Azure AI.

Age of Empires II Definitive Edition

The Defin­i­tive Edi­tion is now in 4K dis­play, with com­plete­ly remas­tered audio and a brand new cam­paign. Age of Empires II Defin­i­tive Edi­tion is com­ing this fall, but you can sign up to play the beta at

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

Although Fall­en Order was detailed at EA’s E3 con­fer­ence, a cin­e­mat­ic trail­er was shown dur­ing Xbox’s E3 show.

This Xbox and PC exclu­sive had sev­er­al announce­ments, start­ing off with a trail­er fea­tur­ing Kait.

Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions

This mash-up is com­ing lat­er this week on June 13th.

State of Decay Heartland

Two sep­a­rate sto­ry arch­es will be include in State of Decay 2’s expan­sion Heart­land, which is avail­able now.


This Xbox exclu­sive is set to arrive some­time in 2020.

Halo Infinite

Elden Ring

This game, which was leaked before Microsoft’s con­fer­ence, is pro­duced by Bandai Nam­co and devel­oped by From­soft­ware. It’s a new world cre­at­ed by Hide­ta­ka Miyaza­ki and George R.R Mar­tin.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Drag­on Ball Z: Kakarot is planned to release in ear­ly 2020.
