New details and screen­shots for Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant King­dom were released yes­ter­day by Bandai-Nam­co. Here is every­thing known so far. 

Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant King­dom will have a PC release along­side its PS4 release. The game was also con­firmed to have a world-wide release some­time in 2017. 

The sto­ry revolves around a young king who was dethroned and ban­ished from his king­dom. Now Ethan, the young king, is try­ing to build his own king­dom and unite the world. Along the way he meets a few peo­ple who sup­port him: Roland a mid­dle-aged man from the real world who is trans­formed into a young man, Tani the orphan of a pirate who strug­gles with her iden­ti­ty, and Hig­gledies small spir­its that can only be seen by those with a pure heart. 

Com­bat will be in real time with the abil­i­ty to switch between par­ty mem­bers. In the game­play shown there are three par­ty mem­bers attack­ing at the same time and each char­ac­ter have a dif­fer­ent role. Roland is a melee fight­er, Tani is a range attack­er and Evan is the gen­er­al­ist. Hig­gledies will attack ene­mies and pro­vide ele­men­tal dam­age. 

While there were no new game­play videos from Bandai-Nam­co, they have released these screen­shots.
