Today during Microsoft’s Xbox E3 conference, Xbox’s VP of gaming Phil Spencer announced Microsoft’s next generation console Project Scarlett.
Project Scarlett features a custom designed CPU based on AMD’s Zen 2 and Radeon RDNA architecture. Microsoft claims Project Scarlett will be 4 times more powerful than the Xbox One X. This next gen console is also using GDDR6 ram and an SSD for fast load times.
Xbox Project Scarlett will also feature 8k gaming with frame rates up to 120 fps, Ray-tracing and variable refresh rates.
Project Scarlett will launch during the Holiday season 2020 with Halo Infinite. Check out the Project Scarlett trailer below.
