Tokyo RPG Factory, creators of I am Setsuna, have revealed their next game Lost Sphear.

Here is how publisher Square Enix describes the story:

The adventure of LOST SPHEAR begins in a remote town where a young boy, Kanata, awakens from a devastating dream to find his hometown disappearing. To stop the world from being lost forever, Kanata and his comrades set out to rebuild the world around them with the power of Memory by manifesting thoughts into matter.”

The gameplay of Lost Sphear will build upon what was established in I am Setsuna. It will have a revamped ATB battle system that allows players to freely strategize and adjust their placement mid-fight. It will also contain seamless environment and various locations to explore.

Lost Sphear is set to launch in early 2018 digitally for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Steam. A physical copy is also available through the Square Enix Store. Those who pre-order physical copies will also receive two tracks by composer Tomoki Miyoshi at launch.
