In a rather sur­pris­ing turn of events, Spy­ro Reignit­ed Tril­o­gy has man­aged to make its way all the top for the UK chart this week. Many triple A titles have been released over the last cou­ple months, includ­ing Red Dead 2, Black Ops 4 and Fall­out 76. It seems Spy­ro has went to same way as Crash Bandi­coot did, with the nos­tal­gia of the series stronger than the need for new games.

Although Red Dead Redemp­tion 2 was dethroned by the Spy­ro remakes, it holds sec­ond for this week. Fall­out 76, which has been receiv­ing some gruff from the play­ers and crit­ics alike, sits in third. Poké­mon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, which launched on the 16th this month, cur­rent­ly rests in fourth. Round­ing out the top five is FIFA 19.

With so many great titles released and being released, this list will most like­ly keep jug­gling who hold top spot. The hol­i­days are also close­ly upon us and it’s going to be inter­est­ing to see how that affects sales.
