Massive Entertainment showed up to Ubisoft’s E3 conference with plenty of details about The Division 2’s Year One content. Three Episodes will be arriving to the Tom Clancy title over the next year, with Episode 1 launching next month.
Massive also announced a free trial will be available for those who haven’t played The Division 2 yet. It starts June 13th and ends June 16th on all platforms.
A movie for The Division also made the stage today. The movie is coming to Netflix and will starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain.

Episode 1 D.C. Outskirts
This episode takes players outside of the city, to explore the surrounding areas. Agents will be hunting for President Ellis, while traversing through 11 different biomes in the Washington National Zoo. Expeditions mode will be introduced in this episode, so players can take on cooperative challenges every week to progress through different wings of Trinity College. Episode 1 D.C. Outskirts will release in July 2019 and Year 1 Pass holders will get early access to it, one week before its official launch.
Episode 2 Pentagon: The Last Castle
This episode won’t be seen until sometime during the fall of this year. Expect elevated Black Tusk activity, three new main missions, and a brand new 8‑player raid. No name was given, but players will be fighting the True Sons this time.
Episode 3 Brooklyn: Homecoming
The last episode will be bringing players back to New York, with new challenges to take on at Coney Island. Someone is trying to spread the Green Poison Virus, and it’s your mission to stop them. Episode 3 Brooklyn: Homecoming is set to arrive in early 2020.
