Psyonix, the developers of Rocket League, announced the title has now entered the PlayStation Cross-Play Beta program. This means players across the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 can now enjoy the game together.
This is the second title to be included in the program. Fortnite was the first, which started in towards the end of September of last year. Now that Rocket League has also has full-cross play support, it might be the push Sony needs to include more titles, like Minecraft or Destiny.
To make sure Cross-Platform play is enabled, go to Main Menu, select Options and make sure the Cross-Platform Play box is checked in the Gameplay tab.
Psyonix is also releasing a cross-platform party system, which allows people to partner up with friends on platform. If you wish to play with friends before the system is implemented, you can start a private to do so.
