A SNES Clas­sic Mini will be released this year on Sep­tem­ber 28th for $80 and will include 21 games in total. 

The total num­ber of games is less than the pre­vi­ous NES Clas­sic Mini. How­ev­er the SNES Clas­sic Mini will include the nev­er released Star Fox 2. Play­ers will have to beat at least one lev­el of Star Fox to unlock Star Fox 2.

Accord­ing to a state­ment made to Kotaku, the SNES will include a HDMI cable, a charg­ing cable and two SNES con­trollers. Each con­troller’s cord will be five feet which is two feet longer than the NES Clas­sic Mini con­trollers. 

Pre-orders are not cur­rent­ly open. Nin­ten­do has stat­ed that they will pro­duce more SNES Clas­sic Min­is than the pre­vi­ous NES Clas­sic Mini, but exact num­bers were not giv­en. Unfor­tu­nate­ly Nin­ten­do plans to only sell the SNES this year and has no plans to sell them again.
